Canadians for Choice has compiled a list of organizations whose websites provide information on sexual and reproductive health and rights in Canada and at the international level. We hope that the information provided through these links will complement the information found on our website. Action Canada for Population and Development
ACPD promotes the full implementation of the Programme of Action stemming from the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development through dialogue, education, advocacy and coalition building. ACPD’s website offers resources on the inter-relationships between population growth and structure, the environment, over-consumption, poverty, sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equity and equality, human rights, migration, economics, and other development issues. ACPD’s website also contains all editions of Friday Facts, ACPD’s monthly electronic newsletter describing the latest issues in the area of international development including online resources and extracts from various media sources.

Abortion Rights Coalition Canada
The Abortion Rights Coalition of Canada is a nation-wide political pro-choice group devoted to ensuring abortion rights and access for women. Formed in October 2005 to carry out political and educational work to support reproductive rights and health, the Coalition provides information about reproductive rights and works to ensure access to such rights. The bilingual website contains various position papers such as “ Abortion is a Medically Required Service and Cannot be Delisted", "Abortion Methods: an Overview", "All About Your Abortion", “Why Do Women Have Abortions?” etc. The site also describes important debates and issues related to SRHR happening in the news in Canada as well as Calls for Action.

Adoption Council of Canada/ Conseil d’Adoption du Canada
The Adoption Council of Canada (ACC) is a federally incorporated charitable body that acts as the umbrella organization for adoption in Canada. The ACC aims to: inform and educate about all aspects of the adoption of children for Canadian birth-families and adoptive parents, promote the placement of waiting children in permanent loving families, stress the importance of post-adoption services for families and adopted children and to facilitate communication among all groups and individuals concerned. Links to adoption newsletters, federal and provincial legislative information, other adoption organizations in Canada are found from their homepage.

Canadian Federation for Sexual Health (Formerly Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada)
The Canadian Federation for Sexual Health is a pro-choice, charitable organization dedicated to promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights in Canada and internationally. In addition to general information on sexuality for both youth and parents, the website has a section on Pregnancy and Options that discusses how to find a reliable counseling centre, pregnancy experiences, and the abortion process. Website has links to Planned Parenthood agencies across Canada.
CFSH also administers the http://www.cbctrust.com/ website which contains educational information for both the general public who would like to learn more about fertility control issues and for women faced with unintended pregnancies who have specific questions or concerns.

Canadian Feminist Alliance for International Action
FAFIA is an equality-seeking women’s organization working to ensure Canada fully upholds its commitments to women in Canada. The website contains information pertaining to women’s rights and human rights in Canada including pay equity, childcare, economic justuce, violence, poverty and housing, etc. FAFIA also provides link of other organizations working on all of these topics. There is an entire section dedicate to the Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination Against Women. The website has a calendar highlighting important international and national conferences taking place.

Canadian Health Network
A government-affiliated, national and bilingual web-based health information service whose goal is to help Canadians find the information that they're looking for on how to stay healthy and prevent disease. This collaborative network of health information providers includes the Public Health Agency of Canada, Health Canada and national and provincial/territorial non-profit organizations, as well as universities, hospitals, libraries and community organizations. You can find information related to abortion, adoption and parenting.

Canadian Women’s Health Network
The Canadian Women’s Health Network is a voluntary national organization working to improve the health and lives of girls and women in Canada and the world by collecting, producing, distributing and sharing knowledge, ideas, education, information, resources, strategies and inspirations. The CWHN website offers access to databases on women’s health, and bilingual information on all aspects on women’s health including Sexual and reproductive health throughout the country.

Catholics for a Free Choice Canada
C.F.F.C.C.is a voluntary group of Canadian Catholics who have worked since 1987 to help secure and maintain access to family planning and reproductive services for Canadian women. Up-to-date news releases, statements and publications related to religious and non-religious debates surrounding choice in Canada and the U.S. appear on the website.

Choice in Health
Choice In Health Clinic is a not-for-profit, woman-centred, pregnancy assessment and abortion clinic. The website offers information on their abortion and counselling services, and on the workshops available to the public. The site also offers information on how to choose an abortion provider and on early foetal development.

The Morgentaler Clinic
The website contains information on the Morgentaler clinics across Canada (Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, St. John’s, Fredericton) and links to historical background on abortion rights. The site also provides link to each clinic website, where information on procedure descriptions, fees and locations can be found.

National Abortion Federation (NAF)
The National Abortion Federation (NAF) is the professional association of abortion providers in the United States and Canada. The site has relevant information on Canada and the US. The website lists news releases related to abortion care and policy and information to help women think through their options when faced with an unintended pregnancy.

Pro-Choice Action Network
The Pro-Choice Action Network is a Vancouver-based political and educational advocacy group that lobbies for women's right to choice on abortion. The Pro-Choice Action Network's website contains information about accessing abortions with a focus on British Columbia, and links to their quarterly newsletter. Pro-choice press newsletter

Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC)
In addition to descriptions of SOGC projects, all of which “promote optimal women's health through leadership, collaboration, education, research and advocacy in the practice of obstetrics and gynaecology,” the SOGC website contains links to published media advisories and updates, and the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Sexuality and U
Administered by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC), sexualityandu.ca is committed to providing credible and up-to-date information and education on sexual health. It has different sections for teens, adults, parents, teachers and health professionals and offers many resources that address various questions about sexual and reproductive health in Canada, including fact sheets on sexual activity and disease rates.

Women's Health Matters
Supported by health experts from Ontario's Women's College Hospital, this website offers up-to-date resources and information on women's health. It also has a resource database that users can use to locate articles, books, organizations and research related to particular women's health issues.
