Barbara Legoswki Barbara Legowski joined the CFC Board of Directors in 2006. She was a long time supporter of CARAL, an active member of the Ottawa chapter since 1986. Professionally she has always worked in the health field, first on the front line as a community pharmacist in northern and central Ontario. After receiving her master's in health sciences (University of Toronto, 1985), Barbara held various positions dealing with health sector statistics and health information systems. In 1995, she began a health policy related consulting practice and in 2004-05 went to Copenhagen as a Senior Advisor to the World Health Organization, Regional Office for Europe, managing a project on European national health status reports and advising on database development. Since mid 2005, Barbara has been Senior Advisor for International Programs in the WHO Collaborating Centre on Chronic Disease Policy at the Public Health Agency of Canada.
